Hello again all; here’s a fun story for everyone to enjoy this evening. About 2 weeks ago, 2 of my dogs decided to escape. Normally, they come home on their own and everything is happy go lucky. This time wasn’t the case. One did indeed return home, while the other stayed out wandering. It was very foggy and cold, and I was beginning to worry. I woke up on Saturday morning, hoping to find Chloe (the one who was insistent on staying gone) laying in the front yard. As I opened the door, being barefoot mind you, I drug it across the top of my big toe, in a rather face motion. Needless to say, it blasted extreme, horrific, and blinding pain into my body. So much pain that it was bleeding from under the nail. Well, today, I was examining it, always hoping for the best, and my nail has almost completely come off. I have about 1/4 of my big toenail left. Trust me, it’s not as painful as it sounds, because most of the tissue has died which keeps the nail intact. So, just a little amusing story for you….and a cheap shot for some sympathy. There are two things I HATE, which are stubbing your toe (especially to the point of bleeding) and hitting your shins (especially on a trailer hitch on the back of the truck). Oh well, you can’t win them all I suppose. G’Night everybody.
