Arrived at work early, should have left early… but not a single soul was ready with what they needed to be today. Not quite feeling peppy, but I must make myself as my sister has a show tonight at Dino’s Lounge starting at nine o clock pacific. If anyone wants to see her play, feel free to drop by. Its usually covers of various angry rock and ska.
My friend and I decided to go out after work to grab a bite to eat. The place chosen was Gorden Biersch located within the confines of Boca Park. The food was nothing to write home about, overly expensive, and the hefeweizen tasted like a Millier lite. The side bonus was to be, a girl he has been talking to is the hostess…. that didn’t quite go as planned. Her little gangsta imitaior boyfriend showed up (news to my friend) and was smart enough not to start anything with my friend directly. My buddy told the girl not to bother him again and that was that. All in all bad food, bad relations, good company of a friend so not a total loss.
Just ended my work day. Had to splice cable line together outside of house as someone decided it would be funny to cut it. Have work in 4 hours again, don’t want to sleep… but must. g’nite.
Retrieved the 1987 Porsche 928 S4 from its previous owner in exchange for $5000 cash. The interior could use some work, but I have a perfect interior to replace it with from a 91 928 GTS bought for $500 a couple years ago. I will probably swap them then recondition the S4’s interior to be used at a later date with one of my 928 restoration projects. The paint is worse then I predicted. I do believe there is enough left to buff it out with rubbing compound to a 5 foot away okay job as long as I seal it in immediately with wax… but there is no doubt it will have to be repainted to make it perfect. Its late and time for bed.
Went into work early and did exceptionally well. Finished the day rather quick, then was fortunate enough to spend time with the woman who makes my boring life worthwhile. Now I am off to Salinas, California to pick up a 1987 Porsche 928 S4 to replace the 1986.5 Porsche 928S I wrapped around a light pole last year. Took quite a while to find a replacement on this side of the country, but now that it has been found a little bit of my joy has been restored. Going to repair my cousin Kim’s computers while I am in California, should be returning sometime on Sunday.
